Quick Orgeat Syrup Recipe
An almond syrup found in a lot of Tiki drinks as well as some pre-prohibition classics. It uses both rose and orange blossom water which make a really nice marriage with the almond.
Old school recipes would call for you to utilize finely sliced almonds but a quick work around is to use unsweetened almond milk.
Make sure the almond milk you are using is high-quality.
I use this approach at home and it consistently turns out tasty.
The shelf-life of this is about a month in the refrigerator, or freeze it to have on hand when needed.
