How to Make A Christmas Martini

Today we have a holiday twist on the martini, I am calling it the “Grandma, Here’s Your Gin”. If you are a fan of martini’s but you want to but some x-mas flare on it, this is a great original cocktail of mine to give a go.

  • The rosemary gives it a piney nose.

  • A hint of orange balances out the botanical gin.

  • The finish has a soft bitterness to it subtle baking spices.

Sips

  • Because it’s quite spirit forward, choose a gin which has flavors you enjoy.

  • You know what you gotta do, chill that glass!

Tips

  1. Start with a mixing glass.

  2. Pour in 2 oz. of your favorite Gin.

  3. Next, add 1/2oz. of Cocchi Americano.

  4. Then, 1/4 oz. of orange curaçao.

  5. Lastly, one dash of Angostura Bitters

  6. Add ice and stir for solid 30 seconds if not a bit more to get the proper dilution.

  7. Strain into the chilled glass.

  8. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

  9. Cheers!
