Groseille (Red Currant) Syrup Recipe
Today we are going to make a cocktail ingredient called groseille syrup - I'm better off writing groseille rather than attempting to say it (my pronunciation is brutal). It's a red currant syrup and is fantastic in the Artist’s Special Cocktail.
This isn’t called for in many cocktails and is relatively quick and easy to produce so I suggest making it on demand for your cocktail needs.
Tips
In a medium sauce pan, combine sugar and red currant juice.
Stir over heat until sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove from heat and add rose water.
Stir to combine.

1.5 cups white sugar
1 cup 100% red currant juice
1/4 tsp rose water
